London: Simpkin, Marshall & Co., [n.d. but circa 1854.] 8vo (205 x 128mm.) 30 hand-coloured double-page engraved plates only (of 32), drawn by John Emslie. (Lacking plate no. 1 'England, Wales' and no. 13 'Essex', browning, spotting to verso, a flower painted in an amateur hand to verso of one plate, disbound.) Original blind-tooled cloth with gilt to upper cover (sunning to spine and loss to spine ends).
