A Chinese famille verte porcelain bowl, Kangxi style but 19th century, of slightly flared steep-sided circular form, the exterior painted with eight gods seated upon various animals, including Buddhistic lions, elephant, camel, horse and tiger, red seal and leaf mark below rim, the interior with recumbent figure, iron red artemisia leaf to base, height 10.5cm, diameter 21cm (cracked, damaged and repaired).
