A 17th century Armada type wrought iron chest, the hinged lid and front with overall strapwork, the front fitted with latches and lock plate, the sides with swing handles, the interior with a lockable compartment, height 41cm, width 82cm, depth 43cm, (faults and lacking locking mechanism), on an associated oak stand.
