Engraved portrait frontispiece, numerous illustrations. (Lacking map, browning and spotting to the title.) Contemporary black half-morocco (surface rubbing and to extremities). - And nineteen further volumes relating to Africa (including Henry M. Stanley's 'Through the Dark Continent', 1899, 8vo) (20).
