A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong but 20th century, of elongated ovoid form with flared neck, painted with five scholars playing and watching Go at a table and accompanied by four child attendants, opposing lines of black text and three red seals, within black borders, iron red pseudo seal mark to base, height 61cm (chip to rim).
