A Persian Safavid blue and white pottery tulip vase, 17th century, of baluster form with slightly flared central neck, surrounded by six small subsidiary spouts, the body painted in underglaze blue with black outline depicting a Chinese river landscape with boats, rocks, birds and trees between a ruyi head collar and lappet and scroll bands, black painted pseudo Chinese seal mark to base, height 26.5cm (faults).
