A Chinese eight-fold 'coromandel' lacquered screen, Kangxi period, one side finely carved, lacquered and coloured with a rectangular panel, filled with a continuous processional scene of an emperor on horseback, soldiers and attendants within a rocky landscape, between smaller panels of precious vessels and flowers, the reverse with a rectangular panel of birds amidst blossoming branches, between smaller landscape and floral panels, height 175cm, length 276cm (some faults).
