An Edwardian silver oval box, the hinged lid embossed with 'The Hon. The Irish Society' coat of arms and inscribed 'Sir Alfred Newton. Bart. Governor 1906', Chester 1905, length 9.4cm, together with a silver cylindrical pocket barometer case with hinged lid and engine turned decoration, London 1911 by William Frederick Williams, diameter 6.5cm.
