A George III needlework sampler by Ann Caffyn, dated 1805, the two lines of pious verse above bands of plants, animals, birds and the Tree of Life with Adam and Eve, all finely worked in coloured silks, within a strawberry border, 37cm x 30.5cm, within a wooden frame.
