An Omega MoD issue steel cased navy pilot's wristwatch, circa 1943, issued to the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, the signed jewelled movement numbered '9917050', the signed dial with Arabic numerals and centre seconds, the signed case back interior numbered '2292', the case back detailed 'H.S.8' with MoD arrow and numbered '8017', case diameter 3.3cm, together with the original owner's Royal Air Force service and release book, ration book, three clothing books and National Savings Certificates booklet for V.A. Menzies. Note: these Omega pilots' watches were issued to navy pilots flying off aircraft carriers in the Second World War.
