A mid-20th century taxidermy specimen of a tench, preserved by 'J. Cooper & Sons, 78 Bath Road, Hounslow' (Griggs), the stuffed fish set within a plain lime green painted background and sprigs of conifer, the bowfront glazed case inscribed in gilt 'Tench. 3lbs 4ozs. Taken by J.H. Potter 5th Aug. 1952, R. Avon, Ringwood', the interior bearing Cooper label, height 31cm, width 53.5cm.
