LANG, Andrew (editor). The Violet Fairy Book. London: Longmans, Green and Co., 1901. First edition, 8vo (183 x 117mm.) 8 colour plates, numerous illustrations. (Occasional spotting.) Original purple cloth with pictorial gilt to upper cover and spine, g.e. (lightly bumped to extremities, marks to lower cover). Provenance: Freda Foreman (gift inscribed in ink on title-page).
