THE PEAR TREE PRESS. - John GUTHRIE. Ten Designs for The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Flansham, Sussex: The Pear Tree Press, 1925. Limited edition, this being number 41 of 50 copies signed by the artist John Guthrie, folio (382 x 277mm.) Woodblock title, half-title, 10 woodblock colour plates. (Slight marginal trimming to corners of two plates, toning.) Original decorative wraparound card covers (rubbing to extremities, slight browning). - And a small quantity of ephemera relating to the Pear Tree Press (including a disbound copy of 'Some Poems of Edgar Allan Poe', 1901, 4to) (small quantity).
