SUSSEX. - Henry MORTON (illustrator). Views Illustrative of Hastings. London: H. Morton, Aug 1817. Oblong folio (247 x 328mm.) 24 engraved plates, tissue-guards. (Browning to margins.) Original pictorial card wrappers (some chipping, stamps to verso of the upper cover). Later brown cloth, gilt lettering to spine (ink lettering to spine, minor soiling). Provenance: Worthing Public Library (bookplates to the pastedowns). - And a related illustrated volume (C.H. Southall's 'Views of St. Leonards on Sea, Near Hastings', [n.d. but 1835], oblong folio) (2).
