DICKENS, Charles. Master Humphrey's Clock. London: Chapman and Hall, 1840-1841. 3 vols., first edition, 8vo (253 x 165mm.) 3 frontispieces, numerous illustrations by George Cattermole and Hablot Browne. (Toning, occasional spotting to preliminaries, spotting to endpapers.) Near contemporary calf, five raised bands to the spines, red and green morocco lettering pieces to the second and fourth compartments (lightly rubbed). Provenance: Edward Rowe Fisher-Rowe (bookplates to the front pastedowns) (3).
