PHOTOGRAPHY. - Henry G. PIFFARD. A Practical Treatise on Diseases of the Skin. New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1891. Folio (349 x 259mm.) 50 photographic plates, numerous illustrations. (Title loose with loss to margins, browning.) Later brown half-morocco, gilt lettering to spine and upper cover (rebacked, replaced endpapers, rubbing to extremities). Note: photo-historian Stanley Burns wrote that 'many dermatologists became photographers; however none received greater prominence in the photographic community than Piffard'. Graphic plates of skin diseases.
