ART. - C.M. METZ. Elements of Drawing the Human Figure… engraved by C. Knight. London: by John P. Thompson, 1803. Oblong folio (364 x 528mm.) 10 stipple engraved plates and stipple engraved title. (Browning, damp-stain to upper margin partially affecting plates, lacking 8 plates.) Later red morocco-backed boards (endpapers replaced, rubbing to extremities). - And two further volumes (including a volume of 13 plates to illustrate Froissart's Chronicles, [n.d. but circa 1820's], 4to) (3).
