Signed by the author to the title-page, folio (356 x 236mm.) 11 plates of the church and its monuments, 2 folding, descriptive notes. (Browning to initial blank, toning.) Original maroon morocco-backed covers (surface rubbing and to extremities). Provenance: William P. Housdon (gift inscribed by the author on the title-page); John Blatchly (pencil name to the front-free endpaper). - And a further six volumes of 19th century non-fiction (7).
