A Chinese famille rose export porcelain plate, Yongzheng period, painted with a cockerel beneath a blossoming and fruiting pomegranate branch, the black ruyi and lappet outlined rim filled with peonies and chrysanthemums on pink and iron red whorl grounds, diameter 22.6cm (minor rim chips), together with a similar famille rose export porcelain plate, Yongzheng period, painted with flowers, diameter 23cm (hairline to rim).
