A Chinese export lacquer work box, early 19th century, of oblong form with canted corners, the hinged lid, sides and frieze drawer decorated in iron red and gilt with figures in landscapes within borders of flowers and precious objects, length 37cm, together with a Chinese hardwood circular stand, the turned top above a carved and pierced apron, diameter 19cm, and a brass bowl, engraved with dragons.
