A late 19th century part canteen of American sterling Buttercup pattern cutlery, comprising twelve table knives and forks, five tablespoons, twelve dessert knives, forks and spoons, twelve pastry forks and twelve soup spoons, by Gorham Manufacturing Co, cased, together with a Norwegian sterling sauce ladle, the tapering handle cast and pierced with stylized leaf decoration, by Magnus Aase, length 16cm.
