An early Victorian gold and seed pearl set oval brooch, the centre glazed with a woven hair locket compartment within a two row surround, mounted with seed pearls, width 2cm (three seed pearls lacking), and a Victorian hessonite garnet and cultured pearl oval brooch, the openwork 'C' scroll border with foliate motifs, width 2.4cm.
