LOT 450
A late 19th century Samson type porcelain gilt metal mounted inkwell, the oval shaped famille verte style body painted with opposing Kakiemon type bird panels against a yellow ground green trellis decorated body, flanked by iron red scroll handles, the gilt metal inkwell liner with five apertures and hinged lid housing a removable clear glass well, unmarked, length 15.2cm.
