An early 18th century Dutch silver gilt spoon, the tapered handle with engraved foliate panel beneath a seated lion and shield finial, the fig shaped bowl back inscribed 'Fer Gedagtenisse van Mr Claes Gerritsen Boosch in den Fleere ontslapen den 14 February 1705 oút 60 Jaren', hallmarked for Hoorn 1701, length 19.5cm.
