A Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date GMT-Master II stainless steel and yellow gold cased gentleman's bracelet wristwatch, circa 1993-94, Ref. No. 16713, with signed jewelled movement, the signed black dial with luminous hour markers, Mercedes hands and date aperture and detailed 'Superlative Chronometer officially certified Swiss - T<25', the outer black bezel with Arabic numerals, numbered between the lugs '16713' and 'S 652964', the tapered two-tone link jubilee bracelet numbered '402B', with fold-over clasp, detailed 'Steelinox 62523 H18', case diameter 3.9cm, with Rolex pouch. Provenance: personal watch of the late Brian Barnes (1945-2019), the professional golfer who played in six consecutive Ryder Cups from 1969-1979, famously beating the great Jack Nicklaus twice in one day in singles match play during the 1975 Cup.
