A Chinese Canton export sandalwood rectangular box with hinged lid, late Qing dynasty, carved in relief with figures in pagodas and beneath trees within geometric framing, length 24.5cm, height 7.2cm, depth 9.5cm, together with a Chinese carved bamboo cylindrical jar and cover with a figural panel opposing a phoenix, flanked by text, height 12.5cm (both with faults).
