Edinburgh: Apollo Press for John Bell, 1777-1782. 106 vols. only (of 109), 12mo (128 x 74mm.) 106 engraved titles, 33 engraved portraits, tissue-guards. (Occasional browning and spotting.) Contemporary calf, green morocco lettering pieces to the spines (five volumes lacking the lettering pieces, a few with slight loss, rubbing to extremities, sunning to spines, two or three covers loosening). Note: includes the fourteen volumes of Chaucer (106).
