Third impression, 4to (248 x 177mm.) 50 tipped-in colour plates by Rackham, captioned tissue-guards. (Spotting to title, occasionally to text and tissue-guards, spotting to fore-edge, marginal blemish to p.62.) Original green cloth, pictorial gilt to upper cover (bumped to spine ends). - And a further illustrated volume (Charles Kingsley's 'The Water-Babies', 1909, 4to) (2).
