ANCIENT EGYPT. - E.A. Wallis BUDGE. The Mummy, chapters on Egyptian Funereal Archaeology. Cambridge: the University Press, 1893. First edition, 8vo (224 x 139mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Spotting to preliminaries and rear leaves, occasional ink annotation to margins.) Original maroon cloth, gilt figure of Mesthá to upper cover, gilt lettering to spine (light rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Richard Pilcher (gift inscribed in ink on the f.f.e.p.). - And twenty-two further volumes relating to Ancient Egypt (including Heinrich Brugsch-Bey's 'Egypt Under the Pharaohs', 1902, 8vo) (23).
