TOPOGRAPHY. - John COLLINSON. The History and Antiquities of the County of Somerset. London & Bath: R. Crutwell, 1791. 3 vols., 4to (228 x 226mm.) 11 engraved plates, indices to rear. (Lacking map, lacking 29 plates and half-titles, occasional spotting.) Later brown half-calf, red lettering pieces to the spines (endpapers replaced, rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Mrs. V. Dickinson (ink name to first text leaves); Ronald Giles Daubeny (bookplates to front pastedowns). - And eight further volumes of related interest (including Edward Miller's 'The History and Antiquities of Doncaster and its Vicinity', [1804], 4to) (11).
