ROLLS SERIES. - Travers TWISS (editor). The Black Book of the Admiralty. London: Longman & Co., et al., 1871-1876. 4 vols., large 8vo (251 x 149mm.) 3 folding colour frontispieces. (Spotting to preliminaries, some dust soiling.) Original brown morocco-backed boards, gilt lettering to spines (fading, rubbed to extremities). Provenance: Worcester Public Library (labels to the front pastedowns, stamps to preliminaries). - And 98 further volumes of the Rolls Series of English medieval history (102).
