A Japanese carved ivory okimono figure, Meiji/Taisho period, finely modelled as a Chinese dignitary seated upon a horseshoe backed chair, holding a fan in his right hand, incised four-character mark to fan and three-character mark and seal to chair leg, height 10.5cm.
