A rare Edwardian silver novelty mesh purse in the form of a pig, the clasp forming the body and head, inset with red paste eyes, the lower part of the mesh body hung with four legs and trotters beneath a chain handle, import mark London 1904 by Paul Ettlinger, length 18cm, together with a matching sovereign purse in the form of a piglet, marked 'Sterling', length 5cm (piglet missing one eye).
