(Some browning, light spotting to preliminaries and fore-edge.) Original blue cloth, gilt lettering to spine (lightly bumped spine ends), dust-jacket (some loss to spine ends). Note: a pioneering work that led to the renewal of Byzantine scholarship in the West. Scarce in the dust-jacket.
