SCOTLAND. - Charles FRASER-MACKINTOSH. An Account of the Confederation of Clan Chattan; its Kith and Kin. Glasgow: John Mackay, 1898. First edition, 4to (263 x 186mm.) 8 colour plates of tartans, 3 plates of facsimile bonds, 1 double-paged. (Occasional spotting to plate margins, toning.) Original blue cloth-backed green cloth boards, gilt lettering, t.e.g. (a stain and mark to upper cover, rubbing to extremities, endpapers replaced). Note: tipped-in to the title-page is a leaf from the 'Chattan Magazine' April 1940 with a list of the Septs of Clan Chattan.
