FORSTER, Edward (translator). The Arabian Nights. London: William Miller, 1802. 5 vols., signed by the translator Edward Forster, 4to (262 x 196mm.) 24 engraved plates after Robert Smirke. (Minor soiling, browning.) Near contemporary brown half-calf, gilt titling to spine (rubbing to all extremities). Provenance: Royal Institution (presentation inscription by the translator on verso of the front-free endpaper).
