MUNNINGS, Alfred. [The Autobiography:]. The Artist's Life; The Second Burst; The Finish. London: Museum Press Limited, 1950-52. 3 vols., first editions, signed by Alfred Munnings, 8vo (228 x 144mm.) Numerous illustrations by the author. (Some spotting to preliminaries and fore-edges.) Original red cloth (slight fading to covers of volume 1, lightly bumped), dust-jackets (minor spotting, staining to spine panel of volume 2). Note: the inscription by Munnings is on the half-title of volume 2 and reads 'Dear Mr Hardy, I'm glad to sign this book for you and I'm glad you've put your card inside so when I'm at Beales I'll call, Alfred Munnings, Nov 5, 1951'. - And a further four signed volumes (7).
