CROMWELL, Thomas Kitson. Excursions in the County of Suffolk: comprising a Brief Historical and Topographical Delineation of Every Town and Village. London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1818-1819. 2 vols., 12mo (157 x 91mm.) 2 additional engraved titles, 1 folding map, 1 folding plan, 94 engraved plates, many with tissue-guards, extra-illustrated with some additional tipped-in leaves with Suffolk-related mounted plates. (Browning, occasional creasing.) Contemporary half-calf (rubbing, wear with some loss to spine). Provenance: H.A. Hughes (name inscribed to front-free endpaper). - And a further twenty-five topographical volumes (including J. Stark's 'Picture of Edinburgh', 1806, 12mo) (27).
