BUKOWSKI, Charles. Ham on Rye. Santa Barbara: Black Sparrow Press, 1982. Limited edition, this number 12 of 100 numbered copies signed by and with an original oil painting by Charles Bukowski, 8vo (228 x 149mm.) Oil painting signed 'Buk' tipped-in with wax-paper tissue-guard between dedication and half-title, signed and with author's ink doodle of a man with a bottle to limitation page at rear. (Mild toning.) Original yellow cloth-backed pictorial paper-covered boards, paper label to spine, acetate dust-jacket. Note: Bukowski's most well-loved work, a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age story in depression-era Los Angeles.
