TOPOGRAPHY. - W.H. IRELAND. England's Topographer, or, a New and Complete History of the County of Kent. London: G. Virtue, 1828-1830. 4 vols., 8vo (214 x 125mm.) Engraved title to volume 1, 1 folding map, 120 engraved plates. (Browning, occasional spotting.) Contemporary half-calf, two red morocco lettering pieces to the spines (rebacked, surface rubbing). Provenance: Mrs. Roper (name inscribed to initial blanks). - And a further five related volumes (including Edward W. Brayley's 'Kent', volume VII of the 'Beauties of England Wales', 1808, 8vo) (9).
