RUSSIA. USSR in Construction. Moscow: State Publishing Union, 1931. 9 issues, folio (419 x 296mm.) Numerous photographic illustrations. (Occasional spotting, toning.) Original pictorial card covers (small corner loss to lower cover of issue 5). Note: comprising issues 3, 4, 5, 6, 7-8, 9, 10, 11 and 12. A monthly art journal published to celebrate Soviet industrial achievements. It was printed in Russian, German, English and French editions and some Westerners were occasionally involved in the production, including John Heartfield (9).
