DARWIN, Charles. The Origin of the Species… forty-seven thousand. London: John Murray, 1895. Sixth edition, 8vo (188 x 119mm.) 1 folding plan. (Toning, slight spotting to preliminaries.) Original green cloth, blind-stamped (bumped to spine ends, a few marks to upper cover). Provenance: David Ritchie (embossed stamp to the front-free endpaper). - And four further volumes by or related to Charles Darwin (including 'The Variation of Animals and Plants Under Domestication', 2 vols., 1905, 8vo) (5).
