CRANE, Walter (illustrator). The Song of Sixpence Toy Book. London: George Routledge, [1876.] 23pp. of illustrations on the recto of the leaf only, printed in colour by Edmund Evans. (Lacking 1p. of illustration 'The Multiplication Table in Verse' to the rear, occasional spotting.) Original green cloth, pictorial gilt and titling to upper cover, blind-stamped to rear. Note: contains 'Sing a Song of Sixpence', 'The Old Courtier' and 'A Gaping, Wide-Mouthed Waddling Frog'. It was published simultaneously with a paper-covered board version. - And three further illustrated volumes (including Howard Pyle's 'Twilight Land', 1896, 8vo) (4).
