BINDINGS. - William SHAKESPEARE. The Library Shakespeare. London: William Mackenzie, [1873-1875]. 3 vols., 4to (304 x 201mm.) Numerous colour plates by John Gilbert, George Cruikshank and R. Dudley, uncoloured illustrations in the text. (Occasional spotting.) Contemporary half-calf, gilt lettering to spines, g.e. (rubbing to extremities, some surface wear). Note: more commonly found in the nine volume edition, published later. - And a further twenty-six leather-bound volumes (including Osmund Airy's 'Charles II', 1901, 4to) (29).
