An 18ct gold cased keywind open-faced gentleman's pocket watch, the gilt three-quarter plate jewelled movement detailed 'T.F Cooper, King William Street London Bridge No. 1905', the enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals and blued steel hands, the case with engine turned back, foliate cast sides and 18ct gold inner case, London 1836, case diameter 4.8cm. Note: Thomas Frederick Cooper (1819-1875) is recorded as working at 18 King William Street circa 1838. See page 409 of 'Britten's Old Clocks & Watches and Their Makers', Ninth Edition.
