An early 19th century finely carved coconut bugbear powder flask of Napoleonic interest, one end typically worked with a mask with inset glass eyes and fitted with a silver collar, cap and chains, one side carved with a central portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte below an eagle, the other side with a swan and fruit spray, all above a band of acanthus leaves and eagles, height 12cm.
