PEAKE, Mervyn. Ride a Cock-Horse, and Other Nursery Rhymes. London: Chatto and Windus, 1940. First edition, second printing, 4to (246 x 178mm.) 15 plates, including 10 hand-coloured. (Light spotting to endpapers.) Original pictorial boards (small repair to spine), dust-jacket (price clipped, paper repairs verso the spine ends, browning, small stain to upper panel, minor soiling to lower). - And a further two volumes by Mervyn Peake (including 'Rhymes Without Reason', 1944, 4to) (3).
