ALLEINE, Richard. The Godly Mans Portion and Sanctuary, Being a Second Part of Vindiciae Pietatis. [London], 1663. (Repair to title, title loosening, browning, spotting, minor soiling.) [Bound with:] Heaven Opened. [London: 1666.] (Lacking general title, browning, minor soiling.) 8vo (161 x 99mm.) Contemporary calf (rebacked, surface rubbing and to extremities). Note: scarce. A non-conformist work that was the second part of the author's 'Vindiciae Pietatis', the first part of which was published without a license in 1660. 'Heaven Opened' is the third part. Provenance: Ann Foster (ink name to initial blank). - And a further seven antiquarian volumes (including John Wesley's 'The New Testament with an Analysis of the Several Books and Chapters', 1790, 8vo) (8).
