COOKERY. - Isabella BEETON. Beeton's Every-day Cookery and Housekeeping Book. London: Ward, Lock & Co., [1890]. Entirely New Edition, revised and greatly enlarged, 8vo (194 x 124mm.) Folding chromolithographed frontispiece, numerous coloured and uncoloured plates, advertisements. (Toning, spotting and hand-written notes verso frontispiece, mounted cooking instructions to front-free endpaper.) Original pictorial cloth (light rubbing to extremities). Provenance: 'Ethel' (gift inscribed on half-title). - And a further six volumes related to cookery and household management (including the 8th Alexis Soyer's 'The Modern Housewife or Ménagere', 1849, 8vo) (7).
