Frontispiece, 14 colour plates, dated to title-page. (Spotting to half-title, mark to front pastedown.) Original maroon boards with pictorial plate to upper cover (small mark to lower cover). Provenance: 'Louis' (gift inscribed to on the half-title). [Linder, p.429]. - And a further sixteen volumes by Beatrix Potter (17).
